V12 Vantage

Perhaps the first truly extreme Aston Martin, motoring magazines described the car as 75 percent Porsche GT3, and 25 percent V8 Vantage. With the GT3 being a hardcore track car, the description really emphasised the move Aston Martin had made with the car.

True to its description, the V12 Vantage does perform. Utilising the DBSs 510bhp, V12 engine in a smaller, lighter and more nimble chassis, the car should easily break the eight-minute mark on the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife.

On the aesthetic side, the V12 Vantage has a far more purposeful look, with its carbonfibre bonnet slats, and carbon rear diffuser. A visual and dynamic treat from the Aston Martin factory.

I drove one of these at a track day, it blew me away, and nearly what little hair I have left! A beast, but a beautiful one.
