Perhaps the most famous Aston Martin of all time. Featuring in the 007 James Bond movie ‘Goldfinger’ back in 1964, the DB5 became one of the most iconic cars in the world – the prestige sports car that everybody wanted.
Iconic status wasn’t all the car had going for it, though. Underneath its sleek body, the DB5 had the performance to match. Its new 4.0-litre, 282bhp engine catapulted the car to 60mph in just 7 seconds, and it went on to a top speed of over 140mph.
All of this combined meant the DB5 was a fabulous benchmark for other luxury automotive makers to look upon – it really had it all; the style, the status, and the performance to match.
