Don’t buy unseen

Don’t buy unseen

The general consensus is that if you find a car you like through an advert online but deem it too far away to view, it’s fine to get it professionally inspected and buy unseen if everything checks out.

Although an inspector will make sure that the car is mechanically and cosmetically sound, what they will not be able to provide you is your initial first impression when you see the car in the metal.

In addition, a simple walk around the car could give you negatives that you don’t need an expert to tell you (such as colour, scruffy wheels, worn interior), so seeing the car first in person could save you a few hundred pounds, as well as saving disappointment if you get a negative first reaction after purchasing unseen.
